The villa benefits from being ideally located on an exclusive hillside urbanisation which is probably one of the best along the entire coast. The old town of Salobrena with its ancient Moorish Castle & quaint cobbled streets
are definitely worth a visit. There is always a festival going on somewhere locally and you are well catered for by the many bars & restaurants in town and along the beaches, serving all kinds of local produce. Various sporting activities are available locally including a water theme park in nearby Almunecar.

Costa Tropical has its own fantastic micro climate with an annual average temperature of 20 degrees C. Summers are hot but usually with a sea breeze, winters are mild on the coast but with skiing available at Sierra Nevada only an hour & half away. The famous city of Granada with the Alhambra Palace is just 45 mins away served by an excellent motorway. Whole region is still typically Spanish, not spoiled by mass tourism.
